This image was taken in Sulu Sea, Indonesia, 2016.
A personal note from the photographer:Navigating the ocean expanse between the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, you will find the Bajau Laut, a group of sea-faring gypsies who have been navigating the beautiful waters of the Sulu Sea for centuries. They are some of the last remaining sea nomads who live and rely primarily on the oceans for survival. Their intimate knowledge of the ocean is a testament to their resilience and adaptability and they are the true guardians of a vanishing way of life.
