A personal note from the photographer: Witnessing a Gentoo Penguin Colony in Neko Harbour during the spring season in Antarctica was an unforgettable experience. Observing the penguins as they ran up and down the hill from their future nests to the water, against the backdrop of Antarctica's mighty mountains, made me truly appreciate their impressive skills - they're like true superheroes.
