A personal note from the photographer: A freediver is dwarfed by a huge Sperm Whale after it most recent hunting trip down in the depths of the Caribbean sea. Sperm whales were the hardest hit from centuries of whaling, with their numbers dropping from over two million down to a few thousand. Populations have started to recover post-whaling with roughly 850,000 individuals.
